Urban detox on the Masurian Lakes

An unplanned vacation most often becomes a magnificent firework of emotions and wonderful memories.

A natural paradise - lakes, forests, fields, the absence of civilization for kilometres around made this vacation a real urban detox.

I learned to hear the wind again and enjoy the birdsong.

When the sounds of the forest are not interrupted by the urban hubbub, when the noise of the trees caresses your ears and nothing prevents you from inhaling, literally absorbing such unique moments with your skin, then you understand that life around us is beautiful, and our task is to be able to enjoy every moment.

One day we could not resist and decided to visit a wonderful open-air museum. Ethnographic Museum: a traditional village with wooden houses, a mill, barns, a smithy and a church - in the small town of Olsztinek. We arrived an hour before the closing of the park and this was our greatest luck, because we were absolutely alone in the entire park.

A sea of impressions, even more amazing photos and warm memories in my heart.

One could write a whole book about the beauty of Masuria. This is a unique region in Poland on the territory of which there are more than 2000 lakes. The healing microclimate of this place leaves warm memories in the heart and a desire to return again.

And a few works written during the holidays may be the reason to start a new tradition - "plain air in Mazury in June" .... Sounds not bad 😉
